OWNERS OF HORSES

INSURE VALUED STOCK
By Pat Blair
Senior Staff Reporter
Excerpt from article:
"It's all relative," said Hilary Carrel, who
co-owns Colts Unlimited with her husband, Charlie. "Quite a few of
our show horses are insured," she continued.
The Carrels board and train horses - including Barker's
horse, Lenny - and are the ones who recommended that Barker insure Lenny.
That's standard, Mrs. Carrel said. She and her husband
advise many of their clients to insure their show horses. "You have
to look at what's the cost of insurance versus how much it would cost to
replace the horseÓ she said.
